Compared with an open geared tuner, a closed geared tuner protects itself from corrosion by dust and sweat and extends its service life. The banjolele also has a stable top, with 12 brackets, a maple bridge, an adjustable hinged tailpiece, and a chrome-plated armrest. The Mulucky banjolele has an open back and an adjustable truss rod preset inside the neck, allowing players to adjust the action with a wrench as needed. The bridge installation and tuner tuning process is straightforward. First, unpack and take out the bridge and ruler, then place the ruler on top of the first fret close to the beam. Next, place the bridge at the tail of the ruler and under the strings, positioning it perpendicular to the drum surface and matching the strings to the bridge hole. Finally, remove the ruler and tune the instrument using the tuner in B mode, plucking the strings one by one from the GCEA string until the tuner pointer stays in the middle.
